Parallels For Mac. Simple Question. ?

December 7th, 2009 Leave a reply »

I need to stop the virtual machine so that I can allocate more memory to the Windows side. How do I stop the machine without having it disappear so that I can make the adjustments. When I hit the stop button the window just disappears and I can’t make any adjustments with Parallels closed.

  1. ELfaGeek says:

Parallels runs on top of OS X, so you can’t do that.
To give Windows more room to play, add more RAM.
TIP: 2 GB is minimum (XP), but 3 – 4 GB is way better for Vista.
