    Hi,
There are two ways, you can designate an ISO or use a physical drive. You can do this when the VM Guest is turned on or off.
When it is off, you can go into “Edit virtual machine settings.” Under the Hardware tab, go find your CD-ROM drive and select it. It may look like “CD-ROM (IDE 0:0).” On the right-hand side, you can select the physical drive (your actual CD-ROM drive of the physical host, that is your computer). Or you can designate the ISO image.
If the VMWare guest is turned on, within the “VM” from the tool bar. Go to “Removable Devices > CD-ROM” and modify the settings from there.
Also, when the VMWare guest is about to boot up, go into the BIOS setup. Make sure that the CD-ROM is set to boot up prior to the PXE boot up.
